Abner has served and been a part of church ministry in some capacity for a good while, being involved in his hometown church in Brazil from a very young age. Serving the church became natural, although always a matter of great joy.
Following his graduation with a degree in Biblical Studies from Kansas Christian College in 2022, he was ordained Licensed Minister by 2 or More Church, where he had been serving in the worship and teaching teams and being responsible for the church’s communication and social media.
Currently, he serves as the teaching and creative pastor, having the privilege to exercise the gifts God has given him through the creation and organization of teaching material, designing of graphics of all sorts, as well as the creation of content (videos, images) for the church’s social media. He is also part of the teaching team.
Being engaged since last summer, Abner is looking forward to beginning his “new life” with his fiancé Aubry as they are getting ready to be married in May of this year.
Abner’s primary goal is for believers to grow in their desire to know more about the God who has revealed Himself through His Word. Elevating the Word is a priority of his ministry because, in doing so, he believes that believers become equipped to live a life that truly honors the Lord.
He aims to accomplish these goals by developing Sermon Series and Sunday School Classes that instigate thought and curiosity to better understand what is in the Text (challenging listeners and preachers). In addition, he tries to be as intentional as possible with the media content posted on 2 or More’s social media so that whoever comes across it can somehow be edified.
